Plate Layout for Different Printing Applications
X!Plate creates plate layouts that make efficient use of the available plate area. It arranges multiple print images on one plate. The software can be used for flexographic and embossing plates, as well as for other applications where several images are exposed together on one plate.
Main Functions
X!Plate automatically arranges the available print images on the specified plate format. It follows production priorities and takes into account the required spacing between images and from the plate edges. It can also leave specified areas of the plate unused.
Images can be rotated automatically. X!Plate can identify the area containing image data and leave out the surrounding unused space. Users can also define this area manually and adjust the position, orientation, and spacing of images. They can start with an automatic layout and then make manual adjustments.
X!Plate can print cut marks and provide cutting data.
