Lüscher Laser Diode Technology

The fiber-coupled laser diodes operate in the 405 – 830 nm range and are characterized by an ultra-long service life of +15’000 exposing hours. They are completely maintenance-free, no need for active cooling system.

Fully Automatic and Continuous Calibration

XPose! Secure and XPose! SecurePlus both include the unique Continuous Calibration Technology (CCT). During the exposure, the performance of every laser is monitored and automatically adjusted if necessary. Costly incorrect exposures can be eliminated thereby.

Lowest Energy Consumption

Lüscher’s patented laser diode technology ensures minimal power usage of 2 kW, reducing costs and providing lower cost of ownership. This promotes environmentally-friendly production for customers.

fleXtreme! Optic for Multiple Resolution

The optional fleXtreme! optic is an in-house development by Lüscher and allows the selection of any desired resolution. The changeover is fully automatic and tailored to requirements. This means that every job could be exposed in any resolution.

With optical resolutions of 5’080 dpi for the Secure model and 8’000 dpi for the SecurePlus model (9’600 dpi as an option), XPose! SecureLine meets the highest requirements in security printing. Whether microtexts, complex guilloche patterns or any other security features have to be imaged: XPose! SecureLine complies with the most stringent security requirements.

Benchmark in Banknote Printing

Imaging systems for banknote printing with a resolution of 10’160 dpi are exclusively distributed by Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions SA, who has been serving the banknote printing market under its own name and its own machine design as exclusive CToP partner for Lüscher CtP systems. This cooperative mutual partnership was first established in 1995.

Also Available as Hybrid System

Any model of the XPose! SecureLine can also be configured as a hybrid system upon special request. XPose! TH, for instance, is the hybrid version to process thermal offset plates, conventional UV plates and letterpress plates as well as rotary screens. And XPose! UV-Flex is the hybrid version to process conventional UV and letterpress plates as well as rotary screens, such as Screeny® by Gallus, TecScreen® by Kocher + Beck or RotaPlate® by spg.
