Rotary screen printing is a specialized printing technique that is particularly suitable for printing on continuously running materials such as roll stock. In this process, the screen is mounted on cylindrical, rotating printing cylinders, which transfer the print image precisely onto the material. This method allows for the efficient production of large quantities of printed products at high speed. Rotary screen printing is used in many areas, from label production to packaging and technical applications.
For the exact transfer of the print image onto the material using the rotary screens Screeny® from Gallus, TecScreen® from Kocher+Beck, or RotaPlate® from Stork, the necessary register systems are professionally installed by us, ensuring absolute accuracy so that multi-color prints or complex designs can be realized with the highest precision.
An outstanding advantage of rotary screen printing is its suitability for large print runs. It allows for high printing speeds while maintaining precise color reproduction and excellent print quality. This makes it the preferred choice for mass production of labels, packaging, plastic or metal parts, and also for technical printed products where the durability and longevity of the print are crucial.
Our flatbed exposers, MultiDX! and MiniMulti!, impress with their precise construction and are ideally suited for imaging rotary screens. The mounting table is equipped with a registration system, enabling imaging of the screens with the highest accuracy. In particular, over 100 of our systems have been installed worldwide for imaging rotary screens in label printing – and this includes all major manufacturers in the industry.
